We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Officer to join the Custody Team, working on global markets settlement operations, which entails repairing instructions with wrong data or format, following settlement process with local custodian agents and resolving breaks reported from counterparts and local agent.
Job Responsibilities

• Manage requests received by email from clients in a timely manner

Chase broker / client on issues/discrepancies spotted on transactions
Take in charge analysis and investigation on existing pending or breaks on all markets with extensive knowledge of US/CA/LATAM
Manage incoming chasing or queries from counterparts and clients
Release instructions on market by respecting treasury cut off
Mitigate risk, put in place partial instructions and place recalls whenever necessary

Academic qualification / Speciality

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related experience

Experience

• Experience in a Global custody or related financial institution.

Required skills
2 years + of financial services experience within Settlements
Securities knowledge (Could be from CSC and or banking industry experience)
Excel (Pivot tables, Chart manipulation, Basic Formulas)
Attention to detail
Knowledge of SWIFT messages type (especially 56X for corporate action and/or 54X for settlement)
