Job Description

Our team at FeedMax is growing. We are currently seeking for a reliable, hard-working leader to fill the role of Operations Manager at our new facility in Winnipeg, MB. This individual will safely and efficiently manage feed production to ensure quality products to company specifications in a timely manner. Responsibilities:

• Manage production and logistics at the mill to ensure that customer order requirements are met and production targets are achieved.
• Ensure the mill and all equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Update, maintain and implement all operating procedures and policies.
• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of feed quality programs including HACCP and ISO 22000 as well as ensuring the facility satisfies all CFIA requirements.
• Execute timely ingredient ordering to ensure availability for feed production.
• Manage oat hull pellet production at the facility.
• Provide thorough production reports, forecasts and comparative pricing with the industry.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Experience in feed production, agriculture or farming recognized as an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office ? Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills.
