Fleet Operations Manager | Waste Management Waste Reduction Group, M4S 1A6 Waste Reduction Group is looking for an experienced, passionate and solutions-based Fleet Operations Manager to optimize our rapidly growing fleet, dispatch and service team. Reporting to the General Manager, this leadership position is responsible for both the daily execution of our client service needs, along with the progressive development of our team and fleet to scale for additional business growth. For almost 25 years, Waste Reduction has provided custom, turnkey waste diversion services to some of the most prominent organizations in Ontario - Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) - through consulting, products, equipment, collections, hauling, and reporting. Position Snapshot Over the past year, Waste Reduction Group has tripled the size of our in-house waste collection and hauling fleet - trucks and drivers. As we continue to invest within this space, we are looking to build a best-in-class operations team that over-delivers current service fulfillment, while scaling our operations for rapid growth. This senior Manager role will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for refining, maintaining and scaling our fleet operations - optimizing and managing truck schedules, enhancing efficiencies in both routes and costs, increasing the amount of waste we divert from landfill, and leading a dedicated team of drivers, dispatch and service through our next stage of growth. Compensation
  • Full-time: ~40 hours/week, M-F (with evening and weekend on-call support)
  • Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 based on experience and fit
  • Full Health Benefits
  • Three Weeks Vacation, plus Lieu time
Key Duties:
  • Management of entire fleet operations, including drivers, trucks, preventative maintenance, scheduling, dispatch, service fulfillment, and reporting
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies that enhance productivity and reduce costs
  • Set and monitor productivity, service, and safety targets for each route and driver
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $72,500.00-$85,000.00 per year Benefits:
