Loomis International (CA) Inc. is the spearheading office representing Canada on a national scale. Our office is in a Small Business format located in Mississauga, close to Pearson Airport, and is ready for expansion.

Salary:

$80,000.00 CAD per year

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Import/Export Operations Specialist is responsible for improving efficiency and increasing operational profits. This position will oversee that the Operations department runs at its highest level of efficiency while adhering to operating budgets and offering and implementing promotional strategies.



To be successful in this role, you should be a confident decision-maker who is experienced in Import / Export laws both nationally and internationally.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Complete and maintain the full scope of all shipments from start to finish. Lead in Importing/Exporting, Logistics, Security and relationship management. Prepare, schedule, co-ordinate, input existing and daily shipments Communicate and liaise with all required International and internal affiliates Responsible for all monthly closing requirements re: finances, operations cost management (including subcontractors) Identifying billing efficiencies and providing strategic costs analysis reports Backup for Operations Supervisor and Branch Manager with day-to-day requirements. Lead in productivity, including process improvements and cost-effective solutions

LBASE superuser

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5+ years armored car or transportation experience is a must. Expert knowledge with LBASE and is already or is willing to be a SuperUser. Post-Secondary Education is preferred. Overall knowledge of warehousing basics, importing and exporting requirements, cross-docking and airport cargo knowledge is an asset.
