Metrocan Distribution Corp is a growing construction materials supplier. We are hiring an

Operations & Logistics Manager

to take full responsibility for our

warehouse, deliveries, and crew

.

This is a

hands-on role

. You will manage staff

and

work in the warehouse when needed. Forklift operation and physical warehouse work are required.

Responsibilities

Manage warehouse staff and delivery drivers Assign daily tasks and oversee execution Plan and schedule deliveries (routes, trucks, drivers) Coordinate crane and jobsite deliveries Operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading as required Ensure accurate picking, loading, and securing of materials Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse/yard Reduce errors, damage, and re-deliveries Hold staff accountable for performance and attendance Communicate daily issues and solutions to management

Requirements

2+ years experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management Construction materials, lumber, steel, drywall, or similar industry experience required

Forklift experience required

(certification an asset) Comfortable with physical warehouse work when needed Proven experience managing crews and drivers Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to work under pressure and make decisions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
