Key Responsibilities
Operations & Oversight
Oversee daily opening and closing of the Adventure Farm
Coordinate multiple areas including admissions, concessions, washrooms, grounds, and guest flow
Ensure winter operations are handled properly (freeze protection, shutdowns, cleanliness)
Maintain strong situational awareness across the entire site
People Leadership
Hire, onboard, schedule, and supervise seasonal staff
Set a professional, no-drama tone
Be visibly present during busy periods
Guest Experience
Act as the on-site Manager for guest concerns and escalations
Resolve issues confidently and professionally
Ensure guests feel looked after, even on the busiest days
Concessions & Inventory
Final responsibility for concessions ordering and inventory levels
Prevent stockouts during peak demand
Support and train concessions staff
Jump in during rushes when extra staff is needed
Cash & Admin
Oversee daily cash handling and till close procedures
Review Square sales and flag discrepancies
Prepare payroll information in coordination with our bookkeeper
Ensure schedules and staff hours are accurate
Systems & Organization
Use and improve checklists and SOPs
Bring order to a fast-moving environment
Identify small operational fixes that prevent big problems
