Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
Follow GAT Security's standards, rules, and policies.
Review and approve adequate plans for the control of planned outputs, budget spending, labor efficiency, service efficiency, customer service, and resource efficiency.
Review performance against operating plans and standards.
Provide reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approve changes in direction of plans.
Define and recommend objectives in each area of Operations.
Develop specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.
Review and approve cost control reports, cost estimates, and manpower and facilities requirements forecasts.
Coordinate and collaborate with other departments of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.
Review and approve the setting of budgets throughout the Operations Department.
Review and approve Operations major projects involving major functional changes within the Department's functional areas.
Develop plans for new areas of technology for the division along with sufficient planning for areas that support the mission of the Corporation within Operations.
Issue specific annual objectives to immediate subordinates and review objectives of the Operations division.
Maintain operating licenses/Memberships
Manage incoming - material, proposed hours - Operations platform
Conduct meetings in person or virtually with Key Stakeholders on active projects or issues
Weekly WIP meetings
Site visits as required
Approvals of / on various operational documents
On-Boarding of new hies/employees
Technical support for all staff both in office and field.
Coordinate Fleet service and maintenance
Approving repairs and invoices
Select and maintain qualified personnel in all positions reporting directly and recommend compensation for them.
Direct, monitor, and appraise the performance of units immediately reporting and provide the necessary coordination between activities.
Identify training needs, initiate development of subordinates, recommend effective personnel action.
Seek mutual agreement on problems involving coordination.
Consult with all segments of management responsible for policy or action.
Weekly/Monthly 1:1 meeting with all direct reports
Ensure compliance within area of responsibility.
Make recommendations for improving effectiveness of policies and procedures.
Review and endorse or revise budget proposals received from direct reports.
Approve budget expenses up to authorized dollar amounts.
Provide orientation and on-the-job training for subordinates and ensure that the authority and responsibility for each position are defined and understood.

Develops and recommends corporate operations policy within the Operations Department.
Defines and recommends objectives in each area of Operations.
Reviews and approves Operations major projects involving major functional changes within the Department's functional areas.
Develops plans for new areas of technology for the division along with sufficient planning for areas that support the mission of the Corporation within Operations.

Makes recommendations for improving effectiveness of policies and procedures.
Relationship Building and Management
Managing and reviewing new sales quotes and review jobs as required.
Maintains high quality client and stakeholder relationships through audits, meetings and visits.
Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.

Selects and maintains qualified personnel in all positions reporting directly and recommends compensation for them.

Financial Management (20% Time Spent)
Responds to bids and quotes as required.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities
Oversight of:
Incoming operations managerial requests and concerns
Vehicles/fleet (insurance/leases)
Various compliance platforms
Various staff security clearances
Managing the Commissions of Oaths requirements
Commercial property and systems
All Health and Safety Policies
Other GAT Policies both incoming/new and existing
Local IT systems
Other miscellaneous managerial duties

Proven experience as an Operations subject matter expert

Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
