is an LTL carrier specializing in Canada to USA transportation and logistics for Canada, USA, Ontario, Quebec and North America. Founded in 1941 as a local, same-day parcel pick-up and delivery service, Speedy Transport Group Inc. has grown to be one of central Canada's premier carriers.

Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to support the smooth functioning of various operational processes within an organization. The position typically involves a wide range of administrative tasks and responsibilities aimed at ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Schedule:

Day Shift
8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Position Responsibilities:

Support the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager to the fullest capacity Support with Administrative duties including handing paperwork such as: o Bills of Lading, Proof of Deliveries, Developing Manifests Analyze reports provided, that entail prioritization information Communicate with Drivers/Warehouse people on their responsibilities Communicate with Dispatch/Linehaul and prioritize tasks based on urgency. Work specifically on our in-house data entry system (training provided) Opportunities to work on all operations tasks

Position Qualifications:

Previous experience within the transportation industry preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Ability to work and learn in fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and courteously with other staff. Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively to accommodate a high-volume environment in order to meet deadlines.
