We're looking for a Contract Operations Assistant to join our Packaging Operations team in Arthur, ON to play a key role in supporting our day-to-day functions. Whether you're entering the workforce, pivoting careers, or seeking a hands-on admin role, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a purpose-driven organization.
Reporting to the Packaging Operations Manager, you'll take on a variety of administrative and logistics support duties using tools like Oracle, Excel, and other office software. You'll be the backbone of our operations--keeping things organized, communicating with internal and external teams, and making sure critical tasks get done efficiently.
This is a temporary nine (9) month contract, running from approximately September 2025 to June 2026. The hours of operation are 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday.
What you will be doing:
Answering phones and emails, and directing inquiries to the right teams
Entering and reviewing customer orders and shipment documents
Maintaining both digital and physical files
Creating basic reports and tracking information in our Oracle business system
Supporting the production, logistics, and purchasing departments
Taking on additional duties as needed to keep operations running smoothly
Here's What You Need:
A minimum of high school education (post-secondary an asset)
1-2 years of admin or business experience (internships, co-ops, and volunteer experience welcome)
Strong time management and organizational skills
Comfortable with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning new software
Professional, clear communicator and great at problem-solving
A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to learn
Valid G-Class Driver's License required
