About the Role
We're seeking a proactive and resourceful
Operations Administrator
to manage the day-to-day administrative and operational tasks that keep our business running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being the go-to person in a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all paperwork related to receiving, filling, and shipping orders.
Perform basic bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
Manage general office administration including filing, scheduling, and supply management.
Coordinate with warehouse and production staff to ensure smooth operations.
Take ownership of inventory control, including tracking stock levels and reconciling discrepancies.
Interact professionally with customers and suppliers via phone, email, and in person.
Troubleshoot and assist with warehouse issues--whether that means fixing something or coordinating repairs.
Run local errands as needed (e.g., picking up supplies, dropping off documents).
Act as the central point of contact for operational needs, especially in the absence of onsite management.
Who You Are
A self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do.
Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
Willing to get your hands dirty--whether it's helping in the warehouse or solving logistical challenges.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple tasks.
Professional in demeanor and communication.
Experience in manufacturing or logistics is a plus.
Qualifications
Previous experience in office administration or operations support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
Basic bookkeeping knowledge (QuickBooks or similar software preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in real time.
Valid driver's license required for running local errands.
Experience with shipping and logistics is considered an asset.
