- Proven Experience in Logistics Management: experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of managing logistics operations, optimizing supply chains, and improving efficiency.
- Familiarity with export procedures to the US and internationally (CFIA, FDA, FSVP paperwork and compliance)
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and solve logistical challenges. Experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems) is essential.
- Excellent Communication and Coordination Abilities: Proven ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Logistics Software and Technologies: Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and technologies (e.g., GPS tracking, RFID) used in modern logistics operations.- Understanding of Regulatory and Compliance Requirements: Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in logistics and transportation, including customs regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
