Comco's Operation Department is currently looking for a detailed organize person to fill an administrative role with duties such as data entry, order release, and maintaining and filing documentation. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
WAGE
: $21/hour
SHIFT
: Monday to Friday
Day Shift
= 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
or
Afternoon Shift
= 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm plus shift premium of $1.50/hour

Responsibilities
Order Management
Monitor sales orders in the ERP software to determine scheduling priorities to meet on time delivery requirements
Review order comments in these section: internal sales order, sales order, shipping controls, and shipping instructions
Release orders, in the ERP software, either by electronically to handled gun or hard copy via a pick slip to Material Handler's
MTRs
Provide timely and accurate distribution of Mill Test Reports (MTRs) to our customer and Comco personnel;
Ensure that MTRs are scanned and inputted into the ERP software;
Verify MTRs for such items as chemistry/mechanical properties, NACE, H2S, and AML prior to the receipt of stock shipments or when MTRs are received for buy-in;
Ensure that all applicable MTRs are retrieved and attached to applicable sales orders and work orders;
Ensure MTRs are available and retrievable on all sales order returns prior to the item being returned into Comco stock;
Enter in QARs to report all non-conformances and/or errors regarding supplier/manufacturer's MTRs;
Shipping & Dispatch
Determines route plans, dispatch trucking capacities and schedules based on order requirements for internal fleets
Coordinates collect and prepaid orders, trucking rate quotes, and waybills for external fleets
Coordinates routing of product to machine shop for required work and pick-up of local product to fill purchase orders linked to sales orders
Coordinates receipt of non-stock product with corresponding shipping out of that product and ensures related paperwork is completed
Prepares appropriate paperwork such as bill of ladings and shipping tallies and ensures critical information is included, appropriate authorization signatures are affixed, necessary information is transferred to other documents, and corresponding records and logs are completed
Document Control
Electronically file documents, such as packing lists, bill of lading, pick slips, inspection notification & documentation, testing reports, and various communication.
Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma and preference to post-secondary in Business Administration;
Work Experience:
Prior work experience in an office preferred;
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with customers and co-workers;
A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Computer proficiency - in ERP software and Microsoft Excel;
Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy is required;
Ability to work in a fast-pace environment handling numerous tasks (multi-tasking/prioritizing)
