GCI is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Administrative Assistant to support GCI's Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. Construction related administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
Duties
Formatting of company documents and manuals
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Electronic filing, document proofreading, and general administrative support for GCI's Operations Manager
Onboarding of staff
Schedule training, appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role; experience in construction is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
Familiarity with HR, HSE, Fleet administrative duties considered an asset
Ability to follow company formatting procedures to ensure continuity in all documentation
Strong computer skills with the ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems and demonstrate professional phone etiquette
Capable of typing quickly with high accuracy; proofreading skills are a plus
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced construction setting
GCI's office is located in Balzac, public transportation is not available to our location, the ability to commute to our office is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
