The
Operational Quality Supervisor
supports all activities related to operational quality on their shift and oversees the work of the technicians. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising employees as well as daily operations in accordance with established standards and procedures. As a hands-on coach, their mission will be to inspire progress and success among their employees. They will serve their team by ensuring the delivery of the established quality plan and by helping them achieve performance objectives through the consistent application of standard daily management systems.
Main Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to the predefined task schedule and assign related tasks to technicians
Provide support to technicians in performing their duties
Maintain close communication and collaboration with the production team as required to ensure compliance with quality control procedures
Ensure compliance and follow-up on quality deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions when necessary
Oversee the execution and maintenance of the product receiving and return program
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of records completed by the team
Ensure compliance with recipes and authorize deviations when necessary
Oversee the onboarding of new employees and coordinate on-the-job training
Engage and motivate employees, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment
Approve employee work hours
Manage disciplinary measures appropriately and ensure proper follow-up
Ensure compliance with procedures and suggest work improvement opportunities
Enforce the established dress code and use of mandatory protective equipment
Maintain documentation related to the HACCP system
Ensure new department employees are trained on Health and Safety (H&S), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP policies and procedures according to their position
Ensure sanitation and hygiene standards are maintained on the production floor
Prepare workplace accident reports and participate in investigations as needed
Main Responsibilities

College diploma in Food Technology and Quality, university degree in Food Science and Technology, or any other relevant education
1 to 3 years of experience in a management position
Experience in the agri-food and manufacturing industries
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GFSI)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong communication skills and motivational leadership
Good sense of priorities, judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail
