To apply for this position, you need to be a Permanent Residence of Canada or a Canadian Citizen.Please be advised that this position is specifically located in Yellowknife, NT.POSITION SUMMARY:Under the general supervision of the President, this position is responsible for the support of Territorial Fuel Sales, with operations throughout Northern and Western Canada, based in Yellowknife NT.RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities based upon established standards, government regulations and time frames.2. Ensures adherence to policies and procedures for the smooth functioning of the business.3. Responsible for shipping/receiving of fuel supplies.4. Adhere to company-provided training on Fuel delivery trucks.5. Taking responsibility for driving fuel trucks and forklifts and training others on the delivery of the fuel.6. Fueling aircraft as needed.7. Calculating the weight & balance of the aircraft with oversight by the Pilot in Command.8. Maintain fuel inventory/schedule (bulk and drummed).9. Maintain bulk tank inspection schedule.10. Superior customer service skills. Must maintain a positive attitude towards customers and staff within a fast-paced work environment.11. Effective communication with customers, peers, management, and various group of companies.12. Quality control and safe management of fuel delivery, handling and storage, and general airport farm operations.13. Operational ordering of bulk and drummed fuel for TFS location and customers.14. Ability to problem solve and make a positive contribution to overall Company operations.REQUIREMENTS:1. Must be willing and have the ability to acknowledge and understand the following:a. Fuelling and Spill Proceduresb. Dangerous Goods, for Fuelling, Service Truck Operator and Fuelling Rotorcraftc. Forklift Operator Certification, Safety Management System and Occupational Safety and Health Manualsd. Emergency Response Manuale. Knowledge of Airport and remote operations an assetf. Logistics background/experience an assetg. Aviation knowledge/experience an asset2. Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills that strengthen inter-company communications and relations3. Computer skills are required4. Self-motivated and able to work within given timelines.5. Effective leadership skills an asset6. Able to resolve conflicts positively and productively (customer and co-worker)7. Organizational skills imperative, including specific monthly scheduling and reporting8. Willing to work on modified schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and holidays9. Physically fit, able to safely undertake physically demanding tasks10. Valid Drivers License required11.
