Job Description

We are seeking a 3rd or 4th Class Operating Engineer to come be a part of a team with a highly reputable company with a beautiful facility in the Waterloo, Ontario region.

Qualified candidates must be a minimum 4th Class Power Engineer with a Refrigeration B certification or a 3rd Class Power Engineer , with a distinct preference for 3rd class. The ideal candidate will also possess a G2 Gas ticket or be willing to work towards it upon successful hire. Candidates must have experience working on building systems & facilities, including HVAC, fire & sprinkler systems, boilers, chillers, etc. Bonus if you have a high mechanical aptitude and some electrical knowledge!

This is a union opportunity with wages and benefits to match. OT available and ability to bank hours towards time off to add your your allotted vacation time.

This is an active role, involving hands-on work and plenty of walking and moving around from various buildings on a daily basis. Qualified candidates will be accustomed to maintenance-style operating engineer work. This is not a job for those used to sitting in a control room.

Required Qualifications :

-Full G Class Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and clean driving record

-Hands-on, can-do attitude

-Mechanically inclined

-Flexibility to work various shifts in coordination with your team

-Legally entitled to work in Canada
