Our Client is seeking an OpenText (OT) Analyst for operational and project work. OT Analysts support existing installations, develop and support interfaces with other systems, patch and maintain OT applications, perform complex configuration and development as required by business partners. The role will focus on patching and maintaining systems while working to align configurations, data, etc. to plan for amalgamation of 6 instances into one. This will help to reducing support complexity, licensing complexity, and provide a more consistent and better business partner experience. This role is critical to the road map of Content Services direction for tech stack complexity reduction.


Candidate must be from Alberta. Work must be done during regular business hours from within Canada, due to network and data security issues. Expectation is for 100% remote and the current forecasted work for this position does not require any onsite work for at least 6 months. If there is a requirement for onsite visit a minimum of 1 month will be given as advanced notice, and in this case the requirements would be for approx. 1 business day visit at a time. Experience Required/Mandatory Skills

The proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following: University graduation in computer science, IT or a related discipline and 2-yr related experience; OR 2-yr diploma in computer science, IT or a related discipline and 4-yr related experience; OR 1-yr certificate in computer science, IT or a related discipline and 5-yr related experience OR 10-yr related experience Experience with integration of OpenText Content Server including: OpenText API; Rest API; Webservices; Integration with external Applications. (2+ years) Experience with OpenText Content Server and related components, performing some of the following tasks: system configuration; maintenance of product patches; day to day to health of the application ensuring maximum up-time in support of project team deliverables; deployment of changes based on planned project release plan; client support of user interface. (2+ years) Experience working as an Application Developer in a large enterprise IT environment utilizing .net, Microsoft Visual Studio, and source control tools. (2+ years)

Nice To Have Skills

Experience mapping, transformation, and loading of documents from the line of business application to the OpenText Content Server. (2+ years) Experience providing OpenText solution design options for development and configuration. (2+ years) Experience with the evaluation of business and technical requirements related to OpenText Content Server. (2+ years) Experience working with OpenText Workflows, Workspaces, Connected Workspaces, Web Reports, Web Forms, Templates in Livelink/Content Server. (2+ years) Working knowledge of information standards and applicability to business situations and problems. (2+ years) Working knowledge or experience with database technologies and schemas. (2+ years)
