Job Description

A&W is seeking an early riser for an opening line cook position who can multi task in a fast-paced environment. This successful candidate will be responsible for setting the pace for the day. We are looking for someone that is a planner and super organized. They will ensure that the kitchen is set up and rush ready to delight our time crunch guests.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Preparing menu items to A&W recipes Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning requirements Work with a team of cooks to prep work for other shifts when needed Monitor product freshness and rotate stock (first in, first out) Follow all food safety standards Filtering fryers Ensuring that we have enough prep for the day Self motivated Recieving stock

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be team oriented Must be at least 15 years old to work in the kitchen Full online and hands on training provided Must be reliable and able to start at 5:30am
