The Network Function Virtualization (NFV) Cloud Infrastructure DevOps team at TELUS is looking for YOU - a dedicated team member who draws from your technical expertise to make a meaningful impact!

Our team is at the forefront of cloud technologies, providing foundational technologies and support across all TELUS services through software defined infrastructure and NFV. We design, build, and operate cloud environments for our internal services. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, keeping you at the edge of this emerging technology.

You will have a focus on both development as well as operations, collaborating with the rest of our DevOps team on this high-profile infrastructure, ensuring it is stable, reliable, and flexible. At the core of your strengths is your ability to see the big picture - you understand that your contributions are integral to keeping TELUS ahead of the technological curve, while enabling our customers to grow and prosper.

Here\'s how

• Provide support for production OpenShift-based infrastructure and for onboarding of new tenants
• Troubleshoot onboarding issues to be able to determine application vs infrastructure issues
• Work in partnership with various development teams, operational support teams, project managers, vendors, and internal clients
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis and implement stability solutions for distributed applications or systems across multiple environments
• Create and maintain support documentation for the infrastructure

Qualifications

You\'re the missing piece of the puzzle

• Minimum 3 years work experience in an operational role with Cloud, Data Centre, Infrastructure or XaaS
• Experience deploying, operating, and troubleshooting production containerised platforms such as OpenShift, K8s, GKE, on both BareMetal and virtualized infrastructure
• Experienced with DevOps Tools: Gitlab, Ansible, Docker, Terraform, Slack
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Great-to-haves

• Experience architecting/deploying Disconnected OpenShift cluster
• Managing lifecycle for a production OpenShift cluster
• Exposure to multiple SDN layers that are part of OpenShift
• Telecommunications industry experience
• Openstack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Juniper or Cisco certification
