Job Purpose
Is responsible to have a working knowledgeable of all rigging products to be inspected and tested and understand the operation of equipment being used.
Duties and Responsibilities:
(In Town) Responsibilities is to drive a vehicle to customer site and conduct inspections and bring product back to conduct repairs in the branch.
(Out of Town) Is okay working out of province and being away from home for weeks at a time on site if necessary.
Ability to drive a 1-ton truck and tow 45ft trailer if necessary. Driving experience considered an asset.* Conduct on-site hazard assessments.
Trained in the operation of Test Bed equipment.
Trained in the inspection of rigging and ability to identify flaws or reasons for failure during inspection of rigging products
Knowledgeable on how chain slings, hoisting products, fittings, wire, and synthetic slings work.
Demonstrates good communication and time management skills.
Accountable for all tools in possession and providing care for customer's product.
Keep the work area neat and in an orderly fashion.
Responsible to represent the policies and procedures of Titan.
Other
Creating Test certificates
Picking, Staging & Packaging products to be shipped or picked up.
Reporting damaged and/or unsafe equipment
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually inspections as required.
Maintenance of tools and equipment
Assist other employees.
Performance of other duties as required.
Key Requirements:
Class 5 Drivers License
Meet customer site requirements and regulations.
Minimum Grade 12 education
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively under pressure.
Knowledge of Titan Supply's products
Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
Basic math abilities
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Forklift experience an asset.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Time management & prioritization skills
Organizational skills
