A Day in the Life:
The senior sales representative will oversee all current sales globally. Responsibilities include collaborating with inventory/accounting teams, pursuing leads, and adapting to various business needs under the direction of the COO and CEO. Deep industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and effective relationship-building abilities are essential.Description of Duties:
  • Coordinate and oversee sales team activities to foster profitable relationships with buyers and customers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients to ensure high satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of seafood products, processing methods, and industry regulations to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Enhance and implement company sales policies and procedures.
  • Consult with management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Manage negotiations of sales contracts and potentially lead recruitment and training of sales team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven sales experience in seafood processing or related industry.
  • Deep understanding of global seafood markets and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
