Shawn & Ed Brewing Company is a craft lager house situated in Dundas, Ontario while Flat Rock Cellars is a boutique winery in Jordan, Ontario. The Role:
It is an exciting time at Shawn & Ed Brewing Company and Flat Rock Cellars! We're looking to add a dynamic and experienced on-premise sales representative to the team whose focus will be in our own backyard - the Greater Hamilton Area (GHA). This person will focus primarily on building upon and maintaining our existing client base in the Greater Hamilton Area. There will be an opportunity to work closely with our national chain accounts in the territory. This is a field-based sales role with daily travel to accounts. Reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining strong relationships and sales with established account base.
- Prospecting new opportunities to grow territory volume and revenue.
- Building strong relationship with national chain partners to increase sales velocity.
- Leveraging CRM and analytics tools to manage accounts and uncover insights for growth.
- Conducting in-person meetings with key decision makers.
- Sharing knowledge of our products, brewery, winery and industry trends with partners.
- Providing frequent communication, follow-up, and exceptional service to accounts.
- Leading staff trainings and hosting consumer-facing events.
- Collaborating with teammates across departments and companies to deliver results.
- Managing budgets effectively and responsibly.
- Supporting other duties and initiatives as required.
Who we're looking for:
You must have a Rockstar attitude! We work hard, but we have fun while we're at it. We're looking for someone to join our team that brings an unrelenting sales focus and is willing to go above and beyond.
- Previous sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry (preferred)
- Restaurant, Hospitality or Retail experience is an asset
- Beer and wine knowledge (preferred)
- Self-motivated, driven, and goal-focused
- Strong professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with Microsoft applications and CRM platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Proven track record of building long-lasting customer relationships
- Solutions-oriented mindset with adaptability to changing business needs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events outside of regular business hours
