Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to support students in developing their English language skills. This role involves creating engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students achieve their language proficiency goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, experience working with children, and a strong command of the English language.

Duties

Develop and implement effective ESL lesson plans tailored to students' age and proficiency levels Conduct engaging classroom activities that promote speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching strategies Support students in building confidence and motivation in learning English

Requirements

Experience working with children in an educational setting or tutoring environment Strong knowledge of the English language and effective teaching methodologies Prior classroom experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new teachers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for teaching and helping students succeed in learning English Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt to different learning styles Certification or degree in Education, TESOL, TEFL, or related field is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
