Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Writing Instructor to join us. This role focuses on coaching high school students in advanced English writing, academic argumentation, and critical thinking.
This is not an ESL fundamentals position -- we are looking for an instructor who can guide students beyond language accuracy toward structured, logical, and high-level written expression.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality online academic writing instruction to high school students applying for global universities or international exams (IB, AP, SAT, IELTS, etc.) Teach students to develop clear essay structure, argumentation logic, thesis development, and paragraph cohesion Guide students through a complete writing process: brainstorming ? outline building ? drafting ? revision ? final polishing Provide detailed, actionable written feedback on student essays, focusing on language precision, tone, clarity, and reasoning depth Track student progress and develop personalized writing improvement plans
Experience:

Experience teaching IB / AP/ SAT / IELTS/TOEFL writing curriculum Published writing work or editorial background Prior teaching experience with high-achieving students or competitive academic training programs Previous experience in tutoring or classroom teaching
Others:

Energetic, outgoing, caring, passionate, reliable and overall professional Flexible in working hours. Able to work

between 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (at least 6 mornings each week), and 9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time Fridays and Saturdays.

Good computer skills as well as office software.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
