We are an innovative online learning platform dedicated to providing engaging and interactive education to students ages 7-18. Our mission is to inspire confidence, creativity, and skill development through accessible online classes led by passionate teachers. Our current offerings include creative writing, essay writing, grammar and fluency, and ongoing clubs that foster collaboration and growth.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English teacher (preferably certified) to lead a variety of online writing courses for youth, including creative writing workshops, essay-writing intensives, and grammar-focused programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students develop their voice as writers while also building confidence in academic writing skills.

Responsibilities:



Teach engaging online classes for ages 10-17, including:

Creative Writing (storytelling, fiction, and writer's techniques) Creative Writing Clubs (collaborative and ongoing workshops) Essay Writing (academic structure and 5-paragraph essays) Grammar & Sentence Fluency (mechanics, clarity, and style)

Create supportive, interactive, and age-appropriate learning environments Provide clear instruction and feedback that encourages student growth Adapt lessons to varying student skill levels and interests Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom community

Requirements:



Strong background in English, Writing, or Education (Bachelor's degree or higher preferred) Teaching certification strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working with children and teens (ages 10-17) Ability to create engaging, student-centered lessons in both creative and academic writing Strong classroom management and organizational skills Reliable internet connection and comfort teaching via Zoom Background check required

Preferred Qualifications:



Teaching certification (OCT, BCCT, or equivalent) Experience with creative writing workshops and/or essay coaching Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital classroom tools

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 25 per week
