About the Role

Restore, Renovate, Build is a local, family-owned small business, proudly serving the London, ON area. We are seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our Emergency Response and Scheduled Restoration Team in a flexible, on-call position.

This is not a full-time or part-time role with set hours.

However, hours are available through both scheduled work and on-call emergency response. This job is ideal for someone with a flexible lifestyle, other work or studies, and a desire to contribute meaningfully when needed.

How It Works

Emergency Calls:

Technicians scheduled "on call" receive a standby retention bonus. If a water loss, sewer backup, storm event, or fire occurs, you must be ready to drop what you're doing, report to our shop, and deploy to the job site quickly.

Scheduled Work:

Technicians may also be scheduled for: Mould remediation Asbestos removal (certified employees; training provided) Fire/smoke, sewage and water cleanup, remediation, monitoring after day 1 Contents cleaning Structural repairs and reconstruction (if experienced)

Key Responsibilities

Respond to

emergency calls

(floods, fires, sewage, storms) when scheduled on call Carry out

scheduled work

Construct containment barriers, remove debris and damaged materials Transport and maintain restoration equipment and vehicles Follow work instructions, safety protocols, and restoration plans Deliver excellent customer service, especially during stressful situations Keep work spaces organized and respect client property

Physical Requirements

Lifting 5-40 lbs frequently (35-65% of the time) Assisted lifting of 41+ lbs occasionally (up to 50%) Occasional working in confined spaces and at heights over 5 feet Use of PPE, including half/full face masks Long periods of standing, kneeling, walking, and bending

Requirements

G Class driver's license and access to reliable transportation Availability to respond quickly to the shop when scheduled on call Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays during emergency events Safety certifications and training provided as needed Experience in construction, trades, or restoration is an asset

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 13 - 80 per week
