Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY: Shihiya School is currently recruiting a Bus Driver to join their team of professionals. Reporting to the Head Teacher, the Bus Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of a school bus and other vehicles and performing associated and operational duties in the safe transportation of students. The bus driver will be responsible for a variety of duties including, but not limited to, maintaining an established route and schedule, preforming pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily, fueling, cleaning, and washing bus and reporting bus/servicing requirements.
OUR "MUST HAVES" THAT MAKE YOU GREAT
Valid Class 2 driver's license with Air Brakes or Class 4 driver's license
Knowledge of the Splatsin Community
Proven safe driving practices.
First Aid Certification
Strong written and oral communication skills
Reliable and punctual
Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Satisfactory driver's check

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $31.81 per hour
