Position Summary:

As we continue to grow rapidly, we are hiring

School Bus Driver Auditors

to support the safe daily operation of our school bus division. This mobile, part-time role is responsible for evaluating driver performance in the field, ensuring proper inspections, professional driving standards, and regulatory compliance are maintained.

This is a split-shift position designed around school transportation schedules, with shifts in the early morning and afternoon. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between multiple locations across Toronto and York Region.

Key Responsibilities:

Driver Evaluation & Safety Oversight

Observe drivers completing pre-trip inspections (circle checks) Review logs and documentation for completeness and accuracy Monitor driver behavior at school sites and yards during pick-up/drop-off Report concerns to the operations team in a timely and professional manner

Documentation & Communication

Submit evaluation forms or summaries at the end of each shift Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and operations staff Participate in routine quality assurance initiatives as needed

Field Travel

Travel daily to various school sites, bus yards, and terminals Use your own vehicle to conduct mobile evaluations across the region

Work Schedule & Pay:

Morning Shift: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Monday to Friday (part-time / up to 35 hours/week) Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Split-shift, mobile role - ideal for candidates seeking flexible, field-based work

Qualifications:

Valid G Class Driver's License Clean driving abstract (minimum 3 years) Previous experience as a school bus driver or in commercial vehicle operation is strongly preferred Holding a valid commercial license (e.g., B, E ) is an asset, but not required Strong knowledge of school bus safety, daily inspections, and route operations Comfortable working independently and outdoors in a mobile role Reliable transportation (own vehicle)
