Job Overview


We are hiring an , specifically someone with a

Process Control Engineer, Process Engineer, Facility Engineer

, or

Operations Technologist background

who's excited to work at the intersection of operations, data, and clean tech innovation in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in helping our AI models understand and contextualize facility behaviour -- ensuring our platform produces meaningful, accurate emissions insights.

This is a

contract role with flexible hours

, ideal for someone who may currently be consulting or in transition.

Please note this is a remote role, and we are accepting applicants outside of Calgary, AB, where our head office is located.

Duties



Collaborate with our data science and product team to interpret SCADA signals, process diagrams, and operational events across upstream and midstream oil and gas facilities. Review and interpret P&IDs, process schematics, and other facility design diagrams. Provide domain expertise, aligning real-world operations and workflows with our continued product development.

Skills



3+ years of experience in oil and gas, ideally as a Facility Engineer, Process Engineer, Process Control Engineer, or Operations Technologist. A diverse background, with the ability to provide 'industry' perspectives and not 'single company' perspectives. Familiarity with SCADA systems, PI historians, P&IDs, and instrumentation signals, and other PCN related data. Working knowledge of methane emissions sources and facility equipment (e.g., tanks, flares, compressors). Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates. Bonus: Experience with LDAR, emissions reporting, or control systems integration. Comfortable working in a startup environment--you're adaptable, resourceful, and thrive in a fast-moving team where priorities can shift as we learn and scale.
