Offset Press Operator (Heidelberg)

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for operating and maintaining the feeder section of the offset press. Assist in completing press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation. Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met. Perform routine preventative and operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment. Remove and clean plates and cylinder at end of press run. Maintain a safe work environment Other duties as required

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

3-5 Years of Experience as a Tier 2 Press Assistant, Feeder, or Press Helper on Heidelberg Offset Press/ 1 year experience as a Press Operator

Skills

Knowledge of GMP and GDP will be considered an asset Strong safety-oriented mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong mechanical skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Team player
