Artemis Gold received its BC Mines Act permit for Blackwater Mine in March 2023 enabling the project to move into major works construction.Reporting to the Supervisor \xe2\x80\x93 Asset Protection, Officer \xe2\x80\x93 CCTV is responsible for overseeing and managing closed- circuit television (CCTV) systems to enhance security measures and monitor activities across the mining site. This role involves monitoring live video feeds, reviewing recorded footage, and responding to security incidents to ensure protection of personnel, property, and assets.Location: Blackwater Mine SiteSchedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation Responsibilities:Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.Monitor live video feeds from CCTV cameras stationed at various locations across the mining site to detect and deter unauthorized access, suspicious activities, or security breaches.Review recorded footage and archival data to investigate security incidents, accidents, or safety violations, providing evidence and documentation as needed for internal investigations or law enforcement agencies.Operate and maintain CCTV equipment, including cameras, monitors, recording devices, and software application, ensuring optimal performance and functionality at all times.Conduct routine inspections and checks of CCTV systems to identify and address technical issues, malfunctions, or equipment failures promptly, coordinating with technical support or maintenance personnel for repairs or replacements.Badging of personnel and operating the access control system.Qualifications:Diploma in Security Management or Asset Protection required. * 5-7 years of Security experience at a mine site.
