Island Pacific School, a unique middle school for grades 6-9 on Bowen Island, is looking for an Office Manager to help run our admin office.
Initially the job is 3 days a week but may rise to 5 days later if mutually agreed.
This job is for someone who has a passion for kids and education, who either lives on Bowen or doesn't mind coming over on the ferry (about half of our students commute from the North Shore).
You'll report to the Head of School and support enrollment, fundraising for bursaries, school events and the myriad things that come up in the busy lives of teens, teachers and parents in a fun, intense learning environment.
You have:
The ability to multi-task with attention to detail so nothing falls through the cracks
The ability to systemize and drive efficiencies
Bags of energy and initiative with a warm, unflappable personality
Ability to build relationships with parents, donors, students, teachers and alumni.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ideally some experience with fundraising or enrollment or sales or marketing
