Office Manager
to join our growing Argyle Associates team.
The Office Manager oversees the smooth and efficient operation of all front desk functions, providing leadership and guidance to the front office team to ensure exceptional patient service and a well-organized, professional environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily office operations, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures while evaluating and recommending improvements for enhanced workflow efficiency.
Manage patient scheduling to optimize appointment availability and minimize wait times.
Conduct regular office staff meetings and rounding sessions to foster teamwork and address any issues or concerns.
Supervise, evaluate, and take disciplinary action as necessary for front desk staff.
Review office operating results and implement corrective actions to address any deficiencies.
Maintain inventory levels and oversee ordering of office supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Coordinate with the Nurse Manager to facilitate effective communication and cooperation between clerical and clinical staff.
Ensure front desk staff perform their duties according to job descriptions, demonstrating exceptional patient relations skills and professionalism.
Uphold patient confidentiality and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Manage office environment safety by maintaining emergency equipment and promptly addressing repair needs.
Responsible for promptly actioning requests for small office repairs and ensuring timely escalation to the Material & Purchasing Coordinator for major issues, maintaining a safe and functional work environment.
Oversee and manage the staff appreciation budget, collaborating closely with the Nurse Manager to plan and execute engaging events and initiatives throughout the year.
Attend manager meetings as required to contribute to overall office management strategies.
This role may be required to perform other duties as required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration.
3+ years' experience in a similar role preferably in a dental or healthcare environment.

Ability to travel to all 4 Ottawa locations.
