Job Description

Jade Stone Ltd. is a countertop fabricator, manufacturing and installing quartz, granite, marble, and porcelain countertops. We cater to the builder, kitchen and bath, retail, multi-unit, and commercial markets.

We are seeking an Office Manager located in Mount Uniacke to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:



Administrative Tasks



Manage payroll, purchasing, and process vendor invoices. Oversee office supplies, equipment, and facilities. Maintain accurate office records, files, and databases. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide administrative support to all departments. Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.

Human Resources (HR) Management



Handle employee onboarding and training. Maintain and update employee records and files. Manage time and attendance for staff, including monitoring hours, absences, and leaves. Manage and maintain documentation for Temporary Foreign Workers, including applications for applicable immigration programs. Support employee relations and assist in resolving workplace issues and conflicts. Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented and followed. Maintain and update employee records and files.

Health and Safety



Implement and manage the company's Health and Safety Committee. Maintain schedules for safety meetings and workplace inspections. Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing health and safety policies and procedures.

Facilities Management



Oversee office space organization, equipment, and maintenance needs. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for office-related services. Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

Other Duties



Process customer credit applications. Book travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and rental vehicles. Manage and maintain company supplier warranty files. Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as needed. Implement and maintain effective office management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, understanding of privacy protocols and policy compliance. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and other relevant software. Sound knowledge of office procedures, systems, and best practices.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
