Job Description


:We are offering an exciting opportunity in Cambridge, Ontario for an Office Manager to join our team. This role involves a wide range of administrative and financial tasks in the industry, including managing accounts, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the process of accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and ensuring collections
  • Handle accounts payable tasks, such as entering invoices and preparing cheque runs, EFT, and bill payments
  • Conduct job costing and record cash receipts and bank deposits
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of VISA credit cards and bank statements monthly
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and customers via phone and email
  • Process weekly payroll and bonuses, and manage RRSP employee information and contributions
  • Prepare and post government remittances including WSIB, Corporate tax, HST, Source Deductions, T4, ROE
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and perform adjusting entries in collaboration with the Accountant
  • Maintain and manage document filing systems and handle mail processing
  • Monitor office supply levels and reorder supplies as necessary
  • Answer phone calls, direct calls, and provide clerical and administrative support to management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an Office Manager role or similar position
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
  • Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Demonstrable skills in performing Bank Reconciliations
  • Proven experience in Bookkeeping
  • Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy and speed
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Month End Close procedures
  • Knowledge of Payroll systems and processes
  • Familiarity with Sage Software (preferred)
  • Experience with Simply Accounting software (preferred)
