We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in office management, ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly. This role requires effective communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our team and enhancing the overall productivity of the office environment.
Duties
Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes
Manage schedules, including calendar management for team members and executives
Coordinate event planning and logistics for company meetings and functions
Supervise administrative staff, providing training and development opportunities
Handle vendor management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships
Maintain accurate records through bookkeeping, filing, and payroll management
Assist with budgeting processes to ensure financial goals are met
Implement human resources practices, including recruitment and onboarding of new staff
Provide support at the front desk, managing multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette
Facilitate communication between departments to promote teamwork and collaboration
Qualifications
Proven experience in office management or a related administrative role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software is preferred
Experience with schedule management, event planning, and vendor relations
Familiarity with human resources practices, payroll processing, and budgeting principles
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to supervise a team while fostering a positive work environment
Knowledge of veterinary office management is a plus but not required
Previous clerical experience with an emphasis on attention to detail is essential
