Overview:

  • Provides administrative support for the Estate and Financial Planning Team, including the AVP, Regional Director, EFPS Directors and EFPS Financial Planners, who in turn provide financial planning expertise and support to CSF advisors and their clients.
  • EFPS Office Associate plays a key role in the successful operation of the Estate and Financial Planning Team (EFPS).
Role reports to Regional Director, EFPS

Role Accountabilities:
  • Supports EFPS Directors or EFPS Financial Planners in the assembly of their financial plans.
  • Collects information for and prepares various EFPS office reports
  • Provides general administration duties for the Estate and Financial Planning Team.
  • Provides review and oversight of Estate and Financial Planning team Letters of Engagement file.
  • Requires the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Prepare agendas and reports on a daily basis in advance of meetings
  • Coordinate meetings: includes booking rooms, tracking future agenda items, setting the agenda, tracking action items, coordinating catering and technology services and arranging for guests as required
  • Monitor email frequently throughout the day and incoming mail as well as compose correspondence for Regional Director and Triage Planning support.
  • Provides backup for other staff with respect to routine operational work and performs other related activities as required
  • Set-up projects, initiatives and candidates; assign people to tasks

Education, Licensing & Accreditation Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent business experience
The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
