Office Assistant/bookkeeper

Job Description

Responsibilities:


Obtain and input data from employee job sheets for invoicing purposes

Entering employee daily time sheets and running all aspects of payroll

Managing telephone inquires and organizing jobs for electricians

Perform data entry and administrative duties

Receiving and verifying material deliveries

Working with inspecting authority and Hydro One to co-ordinate work & inspections

Proficient with accounts payable & accounts receivable work

Experience with yearend preparation would be helpful

Qualifications:



Previous experience in accounting, finance or other related fields, preferred

Ability to communicate with staff and customers in a positive & professional manner

Ability to priortize and multitask

Strong organizational skills

Deadline & detail-oriented

Skills in Excel and Work would be an asset

Valid Drivers Licence

Familiar with the local area would be beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
