Office Assistant/bookkeeper

Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Bookkeeper. This position will provide support to our bookkeeping department and assist with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

Duties:
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist with payroll processing and maintaining employee records
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
- Strong customer service skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
