Status of Position:

Special Project in the library

(25 hours per week)


Salary Scale: $24.29 to $25.32 hourly rate


Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.


Immediate Supervisor: The School Principal

NATURE OF THE WORK

As Office Agent (Class II) in the library, you will perform a variety of relatively simple administrative duties according to established instructions, methods or procedures and requiring routine decisions based on a limited number of elements. In addition, you will be required to:


File documents, books and cards; repairs damaged books; carries out the loan of audiovisual documents, equipment and books; Fill out forms, cards, purchase orders, form letters, notices or any other simple document of the same nature and forward them, as required; Respond to and transfer telephone calls; receive and forward messages and faxes; provide information of a general nature on the telephone or in person; greet and, if necessary, direct visitors; Use a computer and the necessary software to perform duties related to word processing, database entry, spreadsheets and in-house programs; Perform any other related duty if needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in a specialty appropriate for the class of employment, a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority; Have some knowledge of office automation; Have the ability to work effectively in French and in English
