Job Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in administrative functions and be capable of overseeing various office operations. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.

Responsibilities:



Answer switchboard, take messages (clearly), reception, type out purchase orders , quotes on excel, update information on productions schedule on excel, filing, pick up cheques, office and kitchen supplies , admin duties

Credentials:



Must read, speak, understand fluent English (please don't send anyone that cannot hear /understand persons calling in and write down accurate messages)- must have reception experience.

Good mathematical skills, experience using an adding machine

Attention to detail, neat and organized, proofread and submit work with complete accuracy

Experience and knowledge with excel, using printers, scanning, photocopying and filing

Office experience in Canada a must

Drivers license with own car is an asset - please not interested in anyone that does not have a car to do pick up of office supplies and cheques.

Has professional office presentation

Requirements



Proven experience in an office or administrative role, with supervisory experience preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Experience in human resources, payroll processing, and vendor management is a plus Familiarity with clerical duties such as filing and data management Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing individual responsibilities A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail
