Position Overview
We're searching for an
Office Administrator / Human Resources Coordinator
who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This person will play a key role in keeping our office organized, supporting our crews, and managing the HR and administrative systems that keep our company running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to management and field teams
Manage employee files, onboarding, and HR documentation
Post job openings, screen applicants, and assist with hiring and training coordination
Track employee hours, vacation, and other HR records
Maintain company policies, safety records, and compliance documentation
Handle general bookkeeping assistance (invoicing, expense tracking, etc.)
Coordinate communication between office and field staff
Support scheduling, customer inquiries, and internal reporting
Contribute to company culture and staff engagement initiatives
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in office administration and/or HR coordination
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general office software
Familiarity with HR practices, Ontario employment standards, and payroll systems (an asset)
Experience in construction, trades, or landscaping industries (preferred but not required)
