Canadian Prairie Transport is a transportation services provider specialized in delivering dry and temp. controlled shipments. We provide full truckload and less than truckload services throughout Canada and the USA.

Job responsibilities:

Build loads and order entry into the system. Handling and documenting all the expenses into the system. Making and sending Invoices to the clients as soon as loads are delivered. Keeping track of accounts receivables and payables by following up with customers and vendors. Creating and finalizing settlements for drivers by carefully checking their trip sheets and calculating their miles for each pay period. Actively track and trace the movement of customer freight and proactively communicate with the customers. Responsible for creating employee payrolls. Must be available on call for any afterhours queries.

Desired Skills and Experience :

Prior Transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience is must. Sound analytical and critical thinking skills. Exceptional negotiation, decision making and organizational skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-pace, deadline-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter with excellent problem solving skills, who also can work as a team when needed. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
