Muzeen & Blythe Ltd. has an immediate opening for an office administrator. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized, willing to learn, comfortable with multi-tasking and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Muzeen & Blythe is based in Winnipeg, MB and is a full-service machine and fabrication shop that has been supplying the commercial, industrial and agricultural industries since 1922.

Duties and Responsibilities



This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the company, primarily focusing on general accounting and office administration. The items below are examples of the types of activities performed. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist with the day-to-day management of the office, including accounting, payroll and reception desk activities

Manage and maintain company financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

Process invoices and receipts to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in QuickBooks

Manage company payroll processes

Manage and reconcile company credit card statements and employee expense reports

Handle administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling company events such as staffing functions and managing correspondence

Maintaining digital and physical data and filing systems

Develop and maintain office procedures to ensure efficiency of office operations

Administer mail, couriers and shipping logistics

Coordinate staff vacations, maintain records of staff holidays, sick and personal time off

Qualifications



Prior office administrative experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel

Accounting, bookkeeping and/or payroll administration experience an asset

Experience with Human Resources processes/tasks is an asset

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning financial and employee files

Legally allowed to work in Canada

Job Type



Permanent, Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (8 hours)
