Job Description

AscendantFX is a global provider of international business to business payment solutions. AscendantFX Capital Inc., the parent company, is based in Canada with operations in US and UK. We are searching for a Part-Time Office Administrator for a 12-month contract. In this role you'll be responsible for helping to support the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will assist with administrative tasks, maintain office organization, and provide general support to staff and visitors. This role will be based out of Toronto and will be required to be in office Monday-Thursday. The hours of work are 10am-3pm.

Job duties and responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

Provide administrative support, including calendar management, coordination of special projects, and scheduling appointments. Assist with some domestic and international travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, dinner reservations, and itineraries. Support planning and execution of internal office functions and events. Coordinate aspects of meetings and events, including AV setup, hotel accommodations, printed materials, and restaurant reservations. Maintain office supplies and inventory; process orders as needed to ensure operational efficiency. Be the go-to person for office building issues (like maintenance or access cards). Provide backup support to the Marketing team as needed. This may Include: Support trade show planning and logistics, including event registration, coordinating shipments, and ordering booth materials and promotional items. Manage procurement and distribution of client and employee gifts throughout the year.
Qualifications & Requirements:

1 - 2 years' experience in an office administrator or similar role High school diploma or equivalent Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative Strong communication and interpersonal skills Customer service oriented with effective follow-up skills. Positive attitude towards and ability to effectively adapt to change. Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks within time constraints
