Founded in 2015 in Salmon Arm, BC, SPARQ Industries & Automation is a licensed and accredited electrical engineering and construction contractor serving Western Canada. We are a talented and collaborative team that is inspired by designing and constructing. By offering both design and field services we are able to understand your end requirements and offer practical solutions. We are searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, work collaboratively with other engineers, and contribute to the design of new products/installations. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks in a timely manner and have an excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Know how to read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics.
- An electrical engineer must be able to read mathematical formulas and other complex and difficult descriptions of engineering problems.
- An electrical engineer must know how to design and construct electrical parts such as wires and circuits.
- An electrical engineer must know the operation of many pieces of electrical equipment such as those in a power plant.
- Electrical engineers repair and improve existing electrical equipment.
- Electrical engineers install and repair computers.
- Electrical engineers perform laboratory tests on new equipment.
- Electrical engineers test new materials to determine their strength, weight, color, shape, corrosion resistance and other physical properties.
