We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Responsibilities
Answer phone and email inquiries in a professional and courteous manner directing them to the appropriate person
Greet individuals entering the building courteously, direct them to the appropriate contact and provide general program information as required;
Maintain the inventory and management of books for loan and track progress in a database
Process payments at front desk as required
Ensure accurate updates to database
Generate a variety of correspondence as required
Ensure common areas such as kitchen and supplies room are maintained and appropriately stocked
Prepare training materials including photocopying and binder preparation
Distribute all incoming mail, process outgoing mail in a timely fashion and coordinate courier packages as required
Maintain physical and electronic files
Support on and off site events and recruitment activities
Ensure compliance to department policies and procedures; actively participate in training as required Perform all other duties as assigned in order to meet organizational objectives
Skills
A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office administration or customer service position
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent phone etiquette, verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in using phone systems, computers, and office software for administrative tasks.
Detail oriented and able to handle confidential information appropriately
Experience working for a non-for-profit organization is an asset

Pay: $44,000.00-$49,000.00 per year
