We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to oversee daily office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, clerical, and communication skills, with experience in safety and managing office systems. This role involves handling bookkeeping, vendor management, and supporting human resources functions to ensure smooth and efficient office functioning.
Responsibilities
Greeting visitors with professionalism and courtesy
Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records
Bookkeeping tasks using Sage 50 and handle basic payroll processing
Support human resources activities including onboarding, training & development, and employee record management
Coordinate vendor management activities, including invoicing and supply procurement
Maintain office supplies inventory and manage office equipment maintenance
Implement organizational procedures to improve workflow efficiency
Handle budgeting tasks related to office expenses and resource allocation
Ensure excellent phone etiquette and effective communication
Experience
Proven experience in an office environment with strong clerical and administrative skills
Safety experience preferred.
Familiarity with Sage 50 for bookkeeping and payroll processing is highly desirable
Knowledge of vendor management, and filing systems is beneficial
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
Experience in human resources functions such as onboarding or training & development is advantageous
