Qualifications and Attributes
Must have strong computer skills including familiarity with accounting software, Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
Must have experience in bookkeeping.
Energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to effectively communicate with the members of the Club, with the Executive Board, and with the Head Coach.
Excellent work habits and organizational skills including effective administrative and computer skills.
Must undertake and pass a criminal record and vulnerable sectors police check.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration.
Strong communicator with excellent problem solving ability.
Duties
Communicate with Club members by both phone & email.
Handle inquiries and routine communications on behalf of the Club
Complete the Club's accounting on the Sage software program, pay the Club's bills, complete payroll, prepare T-4's, reconcile the bank and credit card statements, invoice members and issue monthly statements to members.
Enter payroll, employee expenses and A/R into the online system at the Bank.
Complete AGLC audits annually for bingos & casinos held by the Club with club treasurer.
Manage Club inventory & merchandise.
Work with the Club Registrar to complete swimmer registration with Swimming Canada.
Work with Head Coach on other administrative tasks
Manage website administrative duties
