We are currently looking for a Part-Time Office Administrator to join our administrative team and help support front desk operations. You'll be working opposite shifts to another receptionist to ensure full coverage during business hours.
What You'll Be Doing
Greet and assist clients via phone, email, and walk-ins
Coordinate the intake and delivery of tax documents (especially during tax season)
Schedule meetings and manage the team's shared calendar
Provide administrative support to team members, including mailings to CRA
Process payments and follow up on outstanding balances
Monitor office supplies and support general office upkeep
Assisting the Office Manager with workflow and deadlines reporting
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in an administrative or receptionist role
Experience in a public accounting office is an asset
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Friendly, detail-oriented, and professional under pressure
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online is an asset
Required to work in office
Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage: $23-$25/hour

Part-time hours on a fixed schedule (discussed at interview)
Alternating shifts with another receptionist to ensure consistent coverage
Must be available to work in-office during assigned shifts
Important Notes
:
During March and April, the firm is open six days a week (Mon-Sat) to support tax season. During these two months we require additional support to assist with the volume of clients sending us documents and visiting our office. Additional working hours will be required during these months.
There is also the opportunity for reduced hours during the summer months, when the workload naturally slows down -- ideal for candidates seeking seasonal balance in their work schedule.
